Line Notes using TagNotate. Example from Hurricane Diane by Madeleine George. I'm interested in finding and utilizing technology to make my work more efficient, and TagNotate has been an absolute gamechanger. I can be on book and simultaneously take line notes, then print or email them to actors immediately following a run. Track progress across multiple runs of a classic script, or quickly upload and work from the latest draft of a world premiere in progress.
Run Sheet Samples from Hurricane Diane and The Lion in Winter. Hurricane Diane was a black-box unit set that was destroyed by the crew during a black-out prior to the final scene. The Lion in Winter featured complicated scenic transitions including rail cues all performed by crew in costume.
Preset and Tracking Samples from Venus in Fur, The Lion in Winter, and Shining Lives. My paperwork changes based on the needs of each show. Venus in Fur is all about what Vanda pulls out of her bags next. This diagram helped the actress and I keep track of it. The Lion in Winter highlights the many consumables in use. In Shining Lives, all furniture moves were performed by actors, but this diagram helped us stay ahead during tech.
